Rider rules
The short version: wear a belt, take your trash, and get out at the end.
Everything below is published in advance, including what things cost. We would rather you know the rules than discover them on a receipt.
What we ask
Everyone wears a seat belt
The whole ride. This is not negotiable and it is the one rule we will not waive for anyone.
Children under 8 ride in the back, in a car seat or booster
Bring your own and secure it per the manufacturer instructions. Rear seats have LATCH anchors. This is Arkansas law, not our preference.
No smoking, vaping, or open containers
Any form — cigarettes, vapes, anything. There is no driver to notice and let it slide, so this is enforced after the fact through the fee schedule below, and it is enforced consistently.
Service animals always. Other pets, ask first
Service animals ride, no questions, no fee, no notice needed. For other pets, use a carrier and let us know when you book so we can send a vehicle that gets a deeper clean afterward. Allergies are real and the next rider did not choose your dog.
Do not touch the sensors or controls
On autonomous vehicles, the cameras and sensors on the exterior and the controls inside are how the car sees and stops. Covering or interfering with them is the one thing that turns an inconvenience into a hazard.
Take your trash
There is nobody to tidy between rides except a person we pay, and every minute they spend on your coffee cup is a minute the car is not available to someone else.
Ride capacity is what the vehicle says
No extra passengers, no riding in the cargo area. If your group does not fit, book two.
When the trip ends, the trip ends
Please exit at your destination. We cannot start the next ride until you do, and on a small fleet that is a real person waiting somewhere. If you need extra time getting out, tell us — we will hold the car as long as you need. What we cannot do is keep it while you decide.
What things cost when something goes wrong
These are cleaning and repair costs, not penalties. We charge what it costs us and we will show you the documentation. Notice that telling us yourself is always the cheapest option — that is on purpose.
| Situation | Charge |
|---|---|
| You tell us about a mess during or right after your rideLower on purpose. Telling us early means we pull the car before the next rider gets in, which costs everyone less. | $50 |
| A mess we find later, or the next rider reportsFirst occurrence. The car is out of service until it is cleaned and inspected. | $100 |
| Smoking or vapingSmoke gets into vents and upholstery. It is not a wipe-down, it is a day of the vehicle out of service. | $150 |
| Bodily fluids or biohazardRequires protective equipment, specialist cleaning, and the vehicle held out of service until inspected. We charge what it costs, not more. | Actual cost, from $200 |
| DamageDocumented with photos, and we will show you them. | Cost of repair |
| Repeat occurrencesAt some point this stops being an accident. | Full cost, plus account review |
Charges go to the payment method on file for the trip. You will get an itemized note with photos before anything is charged, and you can dispute it by replying to that note. If we got it wrong, we reverse it — that has happened and it will happen again.
If something happens during a ride
If the ride stops unexpectedly
Stay in the vehicle with your seat belt on and follow what the screen or our support team tells you. An autonomous vehicle that has stopped has usually done so on purpose. Getting out on a roadway is far more dangerous than sitting still.
If there is a collision
Stay in the car with your belt fastened unless there is an urgent reason to get out. Call 911 if anyone is hurt. Our on-call responder is dispatched automatically and will be there.
You can always get out
Doors open from the inside at any time the vehicle is stopped. Nothing about a driverless car traps you in it. If you want out, get out — then call us and we will sort the fare.
If you get into a dirty car
Tell us before you ride, not after. We will send another vehicle and you will not be charged for the delay. Reporting it protects you from being blamed for someone else's mess.
If you left something behind
File it through the help page as soon as you can. We check the vehicle at its next depot stop and hold anything we find. The sooner you tell us, the better the odds — other people get in that car.
Account standing
Repeated violations affect whether you can keep booking with us. We do not do this quietly — you get told, in writing, with the reason, before anything changes. Anything involving violence, threats, or weapons ends access immediately and is reported.
Accessibility
Service animals ride at no charge and require no advance notice. Tell us what you need when you book — mobility equipment, extra time, help to the door — and we will send a vehicle and a person who can do it. If we ever fail at this, tell us and it goes straight to the operations lead, not a queue.
Pricing
Quoted before you ride. No surge pricing, ever. If the final number differs from your quote for any reason other than a change you asked for, that is our error and we will fix it.
