Privacy policy
We collect what a ride requires — who you are, where you went, how you paid — plus whatever you tell support. We do not sell it and we do not give trip history to advertisers. You can ask for a copy or a deletion at any time, and we will tell you specifically what we had to keep and why.

What we collect
When you book a ride: name, phone, email, pickup and dropoff locations, trip time and route, payment method (processed by [Stripe / processor] — we do not store full card numbers).
When you join our email list: email address, and the ZIP code and interest type if you provide them.
When you contact support: whatever you tell us, plus the trip it relates to.
In our vehicles: [TODO — describe camera and sensor recording accurately. If autonomous vehicles record continuously, say so plainly. If you have no access to manufacturer-collected data, say that too — riders should know who holds footage of them, and “the vehicle manufacturer” is an honest answer.]
Automatically, on this website: which pages were visited, roughly where in the world the visit came from, and what kind of device and browser it used. This is measured by Vercel Web Analytics, which is cookieless — nothing is stored on your device, no identifier follows you between sites, and no profile of you is built. Your IP address is used to derive an approximate location and is not retained against the visit.
The operations console at /admin is excluded from measurement entirely, and the reference codes on confirmation pages are stripped before anything is recorded, so a page view can never be tied back to a support ticket or an incident report.
What we do not do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your trip history with advertisers. We do not use your location data for anything other than providing and improving the service you asked for.
Who we share it with
- Payment processing — [processor], to charge you.
- Our staff — drivers, dispatch, cleaners and support see only what their job requires. Support sees your trip; a cleaner sees a vehicle number.
- Vehicle manufacturer / network operator — if you book an autonomous ride through a manufacturer’s app, that company holds the rider relationship and its own privacy policy governs that data. We will name that company here when it applies.
- Our hosting and analytics provider — Vercel, which serves this website and measures page views as described above. They process this on our behalf and do not use it for their own purposes.
- Law enforcement — in response to valid legal process, or when we believe someone is in immediate danger. [State whether you notify the affected person when legally permitted. Committing to this is a meaningful trust signal.]
How long we keep it
| Data | Retained |
|---|---|
| Trip records | [7 years, or your accounting requirement] |
| Support tickets | [3 years] |
| In-vehicle recordings | [TODO — attorney. Shorter is better unless there is a reason.] |
| Email list | Until you unsubscribe |
| Incident records | [Longer — these have insurance and regulatory value] |
Your choices
Email robotaxinwa@gmail.com to get a copy of your data, correct it, or ask us to delete it. We will respond within [30] days. Some records we must keep — incident and trip records tied to an insurance claim or a regulatory requirement — and we will tell you specifically what we kept and why.
Children
Our service is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information. Children ride as passengers with a responsible adult who books the trip.
Security
[Describe honestly what you actually do — encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access, audit logging. Do not claim controls you have not implemented.]
